Boarders

A tenant is a person who lives in a separate room or flat on payment of rent. If he or she pays the rent regularly and does not cause any nuisance he or she cannot be evicted without following legal procedure.

A boarder is one who lives along with you as a family member, having his meals,breakfast with you.  He pays the cost of boarding and only a small amount as rent for sharing the premises with you. You can ask him to leave if it is not convenient for you to make arrangement for his meals etc.That way he is at your mercy.
